Showme your CDA! The Concept

The “Show Me Your CDA!” Interoperability Forum promotes interoperability by sharing HL7 Clinical Document Architecture (CDA) experience and expertise.

The Forum, includes:

  • questionnaire to collect information on CDA implementations worldwide

  • website with information from the questionnaire, case studies, samples and web resources

  • case studies collected in conjunction with IHIC and published on the website

  • IHIC presentations with analysis and discussion

  • prizes awarded at IHIC for submissions showing outstanding accomplishments

One of the key objectives of the IHIC is sharing HL7 Version 3 implementation experience from around the world, and CDA is at the foundation of those exchanges.

The “Show Me Your CDA!” Interoperability Forum is an opportunity for all members of the HL7 community to show their accomplishments and be recognized for their efforts.

Individuals and organizations are encouraged to fill out the questionnaire; post sample CDA documents, style sheets, and supporting information; and write short case studies about their projects for the Forum website.

The Forum was presented first at IHIC2008, and was be repeated in IHIC2009.

The collected case studies will persist as an on-going web resource.
